Announcing a collaboration with the Maine Butterfly Survey
The Maritimes Butterfly Atlas is teaming up with Maine Butterfly Survey to publish the results of our work collaboratively! This international partnership will put the results of the Maritimes Butterfly Atlas in a broader context, while maintaining all the Maritimes-specific content we would have published on our own. More information on the Maine Butterfly Survey can be found at mbs.umf.maine.edu/.
Focus on target species for the final year of the atlas
The final season of the Atlas is upon us! There are a number of species that haven't been well documented so far. Many of these have short flight periods or specific habitat requirements that make them difficult to detect during general surveys. In the document below you'll find guidance on how to find some of the most under-sampled species. If you go looking for these targets you're bound to encounter many other species as well!
