The NL CDC supports federal land custodians by searching our database
for species at risk that may occur on their property. This service
is offered free of charge for
original contributing departments
to the program. Any elevated services (mapping, etc) for the
originating partners are subject to additional fees. Other departments
are invoiced a fee of $100/hr, with a minimum of one hour per property
searched. The CDC does not charge for it's data but for the time
spent in acquiring, entering, quality checking and searching the database.
This search is conducted using all federally listed
Species at Risk
as well as the
species listed under
the provincial
Endangered Species Act.
Custodians wishing to find out if they have any such species occurring
